Lab Assistant for Flavour Sampling

based in Egypt

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

Support B2C Process by timely providing the needed samples.
Coordinate projects and sampling process to fulfill customer’s inquiries effectively and efficiently

Major Tasks:

Compound flavors/seasoning formulations according to mixing instructions under the initial guidance of the Direct Manager.
Coordinate technical projects (Standard, Sampling) entered by the Sales team documenting all activities on the Platforms (PACE/SAP).
Assist in compounding liquid/Dry flavours samples for other categories whenever needed as well for the WLC.
Ensure all lab activities are in compliance with legal and the guidelines, regulations, and GLP.
Laboratory maintenance (calibration of equipment, shelf life control of materials on stock, lab supply chain, request of RM lab samples).
Following environmental health and safety instructions and rules.

Special Tasks:

Support Samples sending via express courier services for Non-territory business development -Support the Sampling Room smooth operation by coordinating with other Development/Application labs under the Guidance of the sampling Manager.
Attend sensory sessions and assist sensory validation processes in coordination with SCI.

Responsibilities:

Ensure effective and efficient request coordination.
Ensure application of and adherence to, corporate standards.
Ensure the quality of samples prepared and the integrity of associated records.

Qualification:

BSc in Chemistry, Food Science or equivalent.

Experience:

1-3 years of professional activity as a Lab chemist or similar in the same or a similar industry.

Specialist requirements:

Good knowledge of chemistry and GLP.
Very good command of English.
Systems Knowledge ( SAP/PACE).
