Material Planning Manager

A Flavor Factory based in Egypt

Objective of the position:

Materials Planning:

To ensure the availability of raw materials needed for the production plan based on the sales forecast of the powder business & Savoury liquid ( Foreign & Local Materials).
Monitor stocks and follow up materials flow v/s the customer’s call-offs to increase Inventory turnover.

Major Tasks:

Handling planning of all raw materials based on the annual sales forecast.
Reporting annual forecast for the purchased product.
Maintaining minimum safety stock to avoid running out along with reducing inventory total cost.
Make sure that we can supply customers’ orders on time based on their requested delivery dates.
Monitor slow-moving items, analyze the reason behind them, and try to align with different stakeholders to find a way to use them.
Reporting monthly the forecast of powder with the production team to discusses the capacity needed for powder business.
Monitor the smooth operation of the stabilizer business & Colors.
Monitor the smooth operation of Toll blending of powder.
Monitor monthly our Stock level for main raw materials for the global account.
Monitor monthly our planned disposal material and check if there is a need or not for retesting.
Following environmental health and safety instructions and rules.

Special Tasks:

Disposal Management.
On-time Delivery of Customers Orders.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Targets and KPIs are defined in the yearly performance reviews.

Days on Hand.
WoC.
Disposal Management.
Inventory as % in Sales.
Inventory as % in Sales.

Experience:

15 years in Material planning, same industry is a plus.
Fluent in English.
SAP is a must.
